Women’s Designer Swimwear – Bikinis, Tankinis, Monokinis

Women’s designer swimwear  has experienced many changes from the earlier fashion which were not as sexy and flattering. New age designers have restructured the essence of women’s designer swimwear. Today’s beachwear fashion has witnessed designs and styles like never before. Bikinis, tankinis and monokinis are three styles which are immensely popular today. Let’s look at these women’s designer swimwear trends a little more closely.

Bikinis, tankinis, monokinis and women’s designer swimwear

  • Bikini – Basically a two part swimsuit, a bikini is currently the most popular swimwear trend. Bikini styles range from a little conservative to upfront and bold.
  • Tankini – Tankinis consist of a tank top paired with bottoms which can be Brazilian, California, G-string or any style that the wearer might prefer. As sexy and appealing as a bikini, tankinis are the latest buzz in the world of women’s designer swimwear.
  • Monokini – Essentially a one piece swimwear, monokini is a variety of the classic bikini. The eye catching monokini combines the sexy look of the bikini with a one piece swimsuit. Depending on your point of view, the monokini is a one piece swimsuit with cut outs at the sides, front, and back or a bikini fused together with anything from simple straps, sexy crochet, daring lace, or chain into a one piece. No matter how you look at it, the result is an extremely sexy swimsuit that covers all the strategic points.
